Welcome

We are a double bass quartet formed about 10 years ago.

The members of the quartet are David Murray, Paul Sharpe, Anthony Stoops and me Volkan Orhon.

We all teach at universities in different parts of the country. We laugh more than we play most of the time in our rehearsals. As David always says, “if I could do this for living, I would in a second”

Most of our concerts develop randomly and are put together in a day or two of rehearsals.

This site will help us share some of our concert recordings and videos with everyone and hopefully be a good channel to let you…our adoring fans know about our upcoming appearances.
